We're open for submissions: poetry, art, and photography. We are still in need of a cover photo. After an unexpected sabbatical, we're back and eager to relaunch. Send us your best work!
Our editors are back! Red Box Kite is open for submissions. We're accepting poetry, artwork and photography. Please take a moment to review our submission guidelines. We look forward to seeing your work!
We continue to accept poetry and artwork as well as photography for future issues of Red Box Kite. Submissions are still open for our e5 sampler and we have not yet selected cover art. Artists and photographers, we look forward to your submissions.
While we accept ekphrastic poetry, poems for our general section need not be art inspired. Collaborations are always welcome. If you're working in more than one genre, we are accepting submissions for featured artists and photographers. We welcome artwork of all types, and we look forward to seeing your work!
We are now accepting poetry and artwork as well as photography for our next issue. At this time we are still reading for our e5 sampler and we have not yet selected cover art. Artists and photographers, we look forward to your submissions.
While we accept ekphrastic poetry, poems for our general section need not be based on art work. Collaborations are always welcome. Those who are working in more than one genre, we are accepting submissions for featured artists--and if you work in only one genre, we'd still love to see what you're doing!
Red Box Kite is accepting submissions of poetry and photography. We've extended our submission deadline and will be accepting submissions through January.
At this time, we are accepting poetry for our general poetry section--all styles, all subjects. We are also interested in art-inspired or ekphrastic poems.
Red Box Kite is a dedicated to showcasing the work of talented poets and artists worldwide. In our featured artist section, we provide a platform for poets, artists, and photographers who work in more than one genre or medium.
With each issue, we publish e5 (an e-chapbook of no more than five pages) offering a kindle-friendly sample of the featured poet's work.
Cover art for e5 is often selected or provided by the poet, giving the poet an opportunity to showcase both poetry and photography or artwork. We welcome collaborations.
Poets submitting a sampler without art work will be paired with an artist or photographer. See guidelines for more information.
We are gearing up for our next issue, which will feature five new poets, a featured artist/photographer, a featured poet, and an e5 sampler.
We open for submissions October 15. When you have a moment, take a look at the changes to our guidelines. We've updated our submission process to facilitate art and photography attached to poetry submissions.
